My First Allergy

Well, it's official. I've developed an allergy to perfume. The two times I wore perfume this month both saw me spending the day with itchy eyes, a runny nose, and a scratchy throat. Both times I wondered if I was simply getting sick, but this time I was sure to observe my symptoms more carefully. A few minutes after putting on perfume this morning, the symptoms I mentioned started. They lasted all day. They ceased, leaving me with a stuffed-up nose, a few minutes after I changed out of the perfume-y clothes and into my pajamas. I'm so disappointed. I still like perfume . . . but there's probably just one little fragrance in common between my two perfumes that makes me allergic to them both. (I wore one perfume the first time around and the other the second time around.)

Today is definitely a laundry/buy tickets for the school play A Man For All Seasons which I am required to attend/work in the library quite a bit/study for my biology test on Friday/get rid of this freakin' clogged-up nose day. I have a lot I need to get done.

I played Literati (Scrabble, just named differently so they won't get sued.) with Steve and Moog last night. It was really fun. :) I kicked butt. ;) But it's true that Moog and Steve were both dealt kind of rough hands full of lots of vowells. I hope we can play again sometime. The only thing I regret is having to get Yahoo! Instant Messenger. It's not the messenger itself that bugs me but the butload of crap that Yahoo! installs on your computer when you install the messenger. It's all deleted/uninstalled now, but that doesn't mean I still can't be annoyed with Yahoo!. ;) At least they make the junk they install for you easy to uninstall . . . there were no excessive repetitions of "are you sure you want to delete this item?" and the like.

I have work at 10:25. I'ma go get ready for the day. :)

At least you know what you're allergic to. Every once in a while I touch something that puts little red spots on my right hand and the doctor said it was an allergy, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. It only happens like once every few years.

Tomatoes, perhaps?

We should come up with some kind of game-playing tradition. Some people have weekly poker nights, we'll have a literati night. Sounds much more intellectual, at least ;)

Yeah, I think we should set up a game night of sorts, as well.

Also......I didn't have to install Yahoo Messenger and the toolbar when I signed up for Yahoo to test that just now......that's kinda weird.
