It liiiiiiiiiivvves!!!! My blog retuuuurrrrrns!!!! ;) It was my first day of school today, and man, was it an easy day. I only had one class today and no work, (although I have yet to talk to Mark about a possible work schedule) so I had a day that was quite remarkably free. This pattern will most likely continue for the rest of the quarter because I have two classes that do not take place in a classroom. I'm taking care of the science building greenhouse for practicum credit (joy!) and the English class I have is independent study. I'll write four essays over the quarter and go over them with the professor one-on-one and rewrite each one once. I'm not sure that this class format will work with my personality, and I'm kinda scared that the grade for the entire class will be based on eight entries (four essays, four rewrites) . . . but we'll see. I am determined to do very well in all my classes this year, and so far I'm doing a pretty good job of being organized. Maturity and all that, I suppose. ;)
My theater experience class is looking promising. It started out with a bit of overconfidence, but I got the class laughing twice, and everyone seems mature and fun, so I'm excited. The overconfidence came from me waltzing out of Moyer with the approximate attitude of "Oh, I'm a sophomore now, I ought to know where Beagle hall is." But when I got to the building I thought it was, it was Alexander Hall. Oops. So I walked back to Moyer real quick-like and ashamedly checked the map posted for freshman and overconfident sophomores like me, and easily found my building. So I was a bit late to my first class of the year! But it was all good other than that. :)
I think something may be wrong with either a) my rechargable batteries, b) my battery charger, or c) my digital camerra. My batteries were in the charger for at least ten hours (it's supposed to take eight to charge them) and lasted just about long enough for me to take a picture of one rose . . . :( So . . . they're charging right now and I'm going to leave them in there for a good long time and see if anything happens.
I'm definitely going to be posting my more artsy pictures to my deviantART website, and I'll be posting the more informal pictures here, so you guys should have a good inside view of my year. ;) As soon as my batteries are charged ~crosses fingers, knocks on wood and attempts to find some salt to throw over shoulder~ I'm going to take some pictures of my room. Well, maybe after we get the CD wall and curtains set up. :) That's all for now, folks. Welcome back the Bonnie Blog.
