You know why I was feeling congested yesterday even after I was done with the whole allergy attack thing? I got a head cold. I was sniffly and running all day yesterday. Today has been better as far as the sniffles go, but I carried around a box of tissues anyway. :) My biology test seemed fine, but that could just be the delusion of a stuffed-up head. (It feels like it's full of cotton and my ears are plugged. Hooray for roaming colds!) So, to make myself feel better, I splurged and bought four dollars worth of Dreyer's ice cream at the C-Store. It tastes soooo good! I haven't had ice cream in forever . . . this school seriously needs to remedy it's lack of ice creaminess. I think we should go for a more WSU approach and get our own ice-creamery! Heck, we already have our own brand of Starbucks, why not Coldstone? ;)
Tonight is go to bed early and maybe watch a silly movie night. We watched a very sad, but symbolic video today in my UCOR class. It's the first of a "Decalogue" of movies loosely based on the ten commandments. For those of you who might not be able to recall at the moment, the first commandment is "You shouldn't have any other God but Me." So, the film involved a father and son on their own in Poland. The father was raised Catholic, but no longer holds those believes. He is a college professor who relies on his calculations and his computer. His small boy is learning to love computers as well and is very precious in general. The father has one calculation on his computer to tell him, depending on the temperatures for the last few days, whether or not the ice on their lake is thick enough to skate on. So one day, he gives the go-ahead for his little boy, because the computer calculation says it's safe. Suffice it to say, the ice broke, the boy died, and the father crumbled when his "god" failed him. What a way to start the day, aye?
Hopefully I'll be all better by the morning so I'll have a mucus-free weekend! ;) My parents will be visiting me next week, so I should probably start cleaning my half of the room now in order to have it done by then. ;) Heh. Just kidding. Sort of . . .

That's a horrid movie! We had to watch a movie kind of like that in english junior year? Gillespe I think.
Oh by the way Aaron's blog died on him just so you know. Annie & I talked to him today and told him to make a new one, but who knows what he'll do.
Well which is it Sally, sophomore or junior? ;)
mmmmmmmmm... ice cream...
Feel better, ok?
Hmm....
Perhaps I should eat some of the ice cream that we have in the freezer. We've had most of that stuff since we first got here. We don't eat a lot of ice cream here in the apartment, but maybe it'll help me get over my sore throat/runny nose.
Do you realize also that you began this post's title with a 'D'? :P
Yumm! Ice cream. I just got back from the junior high winter retreat, and am not going to make the effort to think of something creative to say in this comment, but good post :)
